Just Get Out!
I very much enjoyed this book and its message to humans everywhere. Get out! Get out there in nature into the world that nurtures us even if it is for brief periods, but regularly. Connect with what is healing and real. For your mind, for your body, and your soul!

Good Read
I very much enjoyed what the author had to say about the mental health benefits of getting out into nature, and as a therapist I agree with what he has to say. It’s a shame though, about the serious formatting issues. I read the book on Kindle and a good 30% of the words were strung together, making the book difficult to read. This is very distracting, and unfortunately takes away from this book’s good and positive message.

A positive and effective mental health resource
This was a really easy book to read, and as someone who struggles with mental health, I felt I got a lot from it. I can see this book helping a lot of people to improve their mental health.

Everyone Can Benefit from Spending Time in Nature
I agree wholeheartedly that nature provides a respite from today’s overly connected digital world. Rose delivers a method by which to escape to nature, and that in itself is valuable. The reminders and insights are certainly worthwhile such as the suggestion to meditate. But, I felt the book was geared toward a male experience. The recommendation to go out in nature on my own for a few days, did not seem safe or appealing to me, a middle-aged woman, even though Rose did include safety precautions. I would have loved to see some solo-retreat alternatives that could achieve similar goals but not in the wilderness.

Finally a book with great examples of how to start exploring nature beyond my yard:)
I appreciate the stories and examples of how the author participates in the outdoors. This is a great start for me and I hope Emanuel Rose continues to take us even farther into this learning.
